WTH IS AGM?!

All this talk about AGM...
But what exactly IS AGM?!
For the benefit of our freshies, here's what the AGM is all about!

What does AGM even stand for?!
AGM does not stand for "Azeemah is Great and Magnificient" (although we all know that's true! OK LAH STOP ROLLING YOUR EYES!), AGM actually stands for "Annual General Meeting"!
The AGM is an annual event held by the HSSSC- and perhaps one of the most important events in the year! You see, this is where everything starts. During the AGM, you'll find out about the elected members of the HSSSC. Who's tasked to do what role in the club? Who's the big guy (or in our case, small woman) in charge of money? Who can I go to if I want to suggest new items for the Interaction Room? Who can I blame if I don't feel like a part of the HSSSC?

If you (like I was) care less about who's running the club.. there's more reasons as to why you should attend the AGM!
You get to find out the events the club will be planning for you throughout this academic year. As a taster, let's just say there will be plenty of opportunities for you to show your skills & talents, AND stand a chance to win DAMN GOOD PRIZES at the same time! You'll find out what you can must participate in and gain aweeeeesummm memories about your poly life while you're at it!
That's not all! If you don't have a CCA and you want to know what you can do to get those seal points, come down and we'll tell you!
And.. for the first time ever, HSSSC will launch it's official logo! You've seen the other clubs in action, now it's time to support your own! If you're curious whether the logo is anything like you've imagined come on down and we'll present to you our official club logo! The official inauguration of our logo is during YOUR AGM- it doesn't get more interesting than that!

So, I'll see ALL of you on the 3rd July at Audi 2~! Report at 5.45pm sharp. The theme for this year's AGM is "My Big, Fat Geek Affair" so come dressed up as BIG geeks! More details will be given through this blog and other mediums so please stay tuned!
